Welcome! I am glad you are here !

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Georgia, offering in-person sessions in Valdosta and telehealth for GA & FL residents. I provide therapy services with a systemic approach, as well as EMDR and trauma-focused therapy. Starting therapy can bring a mix of emotions - it's brave, courageous, and a step toward self-care. My goal is to create a compassionate space for healing for adult & teen individuals, couples, and families alike. Through therapy, we can navigate the intricate landscapes of relational and attachment challenges that can feel like trying to find a GPS signal in a tunnel—frustrating and disorienting! Whether you're wrestling with the aftershocks of acute trauma or managing the consistent companion of chronic anxiety, it’s perfectly normal to feel a bit lost. Therapy is here to help you declutter that emotional backpack, find a pause in the craziness, and uncover paths through the maze. Together, we can create a roadmap that leads to healthier relationships, emotional resilience, and ultimately, a more balanced life.

I am passionate about ….

  • holding my clients story with care and intentionality

  • offering a compassionate and validating space that is free from judgment

  • collaborating with my clients on what is working in therapy and what is not

  • inviting my clients to explore and be curious about the impacts of their past on their present

  • helping my clients learn to recognize, sit, and explore their emotions in a way that is safe, curious, and solution-focused

  • reframing unhelpful narratives into narratives that foster growth and highlight autonomy

  • providing quality care that fits my clients needs and their experience

  • building and fostering a therapeutic relationship with my clients where they feel seen and heard

  • ensuring safety for my clients and to help them identify ways to keep themselves safe

  • sharing resources with my clients to support growth and to offer various perspectives and opportunities

  • separating my client from their problem in order to prevent over identification with a diagnosis

  • learning and teaching coping skills and strategies to cope with stress, depression, anxiety, anger, and trauma symptoms

  • staying up-to-date on research and interventions to help support my clients using evidence-based material
